Creating Your Own Keyboard Shortcut List for C1

When working with Phase One’s PRO software, either v4.7 or their newest version, 4.8; here is a sequence for you to follow that will enable you to create your own keyboard short cuts, and it works.  In other words, you can make the “Return” key fire your medium format motorized or 35mm motorized DSLR cameras.
  1. Launch Capture One PRO 4.7 or v4.8
  2. Click on the bold Capture One header in the upper left-hand corner of the software page.
  3. Scroll down with your mouse to “Edit Keyboard Shortrcuts…”
  4. When the new panel opens up, click on “Duplicate.”
  5. When you do this, a drop down panel will pop open and ask you to name the duplicated set – so make up a name for it and hit ‘Save”.
  6. Expand the “Edit” arrow.
  7. Go to “Compare Variant” and double click on the Key symbol on the Key column.
  8. Choose a key that is not being used as a key shortcut, like the “” key, just above the “Return/Enter” key.
  9. Hit the “Return” key once.
  10. Go to “Clear Compare Variant” and hit the “Return” key twice.
  11. Hold down the “Command” key and hit the “” key or any other key not being used as a key command short cut.
  12. Hit the “Return” key once.
  13. Go to “Camera” and expand the arrow.
  14. Double click the “Capture” line item and it will turn blue.
